An original brought back by a veteran with other items I am listing. Gilded with some wear to the front. Catch on the reverse is missing but the pin and hinge are working fine
Established on 14 July 1942, it was bestowed on personnel from the former Soviet Union (Ostvolk in German, literally "Eastern people"), who volunteered to fight alongside German forces (Wikipedia)
