Oval shaped armband in white linen with buckle at one end. Red cross in felt stitched onto center. On the left 92e R.I stamp for 92nd Infantry Regiment and the right Commission de Réception 29-8-1906" same stamp on reverse.

The 92nd Infantry Regiment (\(92^e \text{ RI}\)), historically based in Clermont-Ferrand, was a highly decorated unit during WWI. Nicknamed Les Gaulois with the famous motto "À moi, Auvergne !", it saw fierce combat in the Battle of the Somme and the Battle of Verdun
