A clenched mailed gauntlet in white on a square black background.The formation served in the B.N.A.F. with the First Army during the campaign in Tunisia 1924-43 and it was division which linked up with the advancing Eighth Army in the coastal sector of Tunisia in the final round up and defeat of von Arnim's broken Axis forces. The 6th Armoured served through the Italian campaign.
